Saturday, Sept. 29, St. Louis, rest day
I chose to spend the day by myself. After breakfast I went to the Gateway Arch, and it was awesome! Quite an engineering marvel, so simple in design and so beautiful.

My shoes were hurting my feet, and I decided to go to Macy’s, which was only a few blocks from the hotel. Found some comfortable Easy Spirit shoes on sale - goody!
Found a nice restaurant and got a delicious spinach salad for lunch.
Back at the hotel, I went to the pool and soaked in the hot tub for a while, and swam some laps in the pool. Came back to the room and took a little snooze.
